It's almost that bad for, or may as well as be that bad. It's at least FIVE HUNDRED FUCKING miles for me. (Note this fact pisses me off, as if you couldn't tell) I'm going to end up Down loading it.

So finally after a fucking month I got to see the movie tonight. It was pretty fucking cool. I know a lot of people said that they didn't like it, but I really did. It was different from the first one, that does not make it worse. It was more "hollywoodiaed" but still retained a lot of what the first movie had. I think it was a bit more funny as well. I also liked the fast that they left it open for a part three.
On that thinkg where i said thought they used some different actors. I know I was wrong but I can hardly be blamed. Sean Patric Flanery did not age well at all.

So I just saw Avatar tonight. IMAX 3D, which was pretty cool. Very effective use of the technology to add depth without abusing it the way Beowulf did.

Pandora is a beautiful place to be sure. I'd love to live there if I could. The allure is incredible. I see how people can get sucked in.
I also think that the display of naked greed on the part of Humans in general is pretty accurate. I can definitely buy the idea of an encounter with alien life on a foreign planet going pretty much exactly as portrayed, with one change. There would be no happy ending. The humans wouldn't be sent home. They'd keep sending more reinforcements, and eventually pave the whole goddamned place over. Perhaps even terraform the planet and kill off all the indigenous life for convenience.

Humans suck.

Wolfman and Sherlock Holmes are relegated to dvd for me.
The Good, the Bad & the Weird is a korean take on the Western. Good humour and epic shooting scenes.
Chocolate 2008, dir. Prachya Pinkaew. Autistic thai girl is the lead, she is nothing short of amazing. I have no idea how they persuaded all the stunt extras to do it without crash mats.

Except that nobody would want to see it. Hits too close to home, you see.

Forsooth. I'm certain no one will want to see sequels to the top grossing motion picture of all time, regardless of the plot.

/s

James Cameron could paint his dick blue, paste eyes to it, and re-enact the plot to Full Metal Jacket in a Jar Jar voice, and Avatar: The Dickening would still gross over a billion dollars.

I watched this movie because I figured no vampire story could be more catastrophic than Twilight, and I believe I was proven wrong.

Why what?

Why did I watch it? Because I thought no movie could be worse than twilight.
Must we keep raping vampires? Since when do we fear vampires because of their fingernails?

Alas, the killing blow. Having just completed the movie, I am remiss and disappointed. The show was so wonderfully done and irreverent. The movie feels like a last ditch effort to toss a middle finger and make some cash. Perhaps that's the point, or there really doesn't have to be a point. Like a bad remake/sequel of a great movie that utterly ruins the original, so to has the Drawn Together Movie: The Movie followed in suit.

Book of Eli = Army of Darkness with a black guy. Sword and a shotgun is almost as cool as a chainsaw and rifle though.
